FINALLY, HOME

DEVELOPMENT AND PROCESS
STORY DEVELOPMENT
To convey the story, similar compositions are intentionally repeated throughout the piece. The star encounters an object, attempts to mimic it but fails, and then exits the screen to seek another object.

To enhance clarity, contrasting scenes are presented side by side within the same frame for easier comparison and understanding.

COLOR TREATMENT
To emphasize the star’s journey of finding where it belongs, only the objects it tries to mimic are shown in color. All other elements are kept in black and white, using minimalist designs composed of simple shapes and strokes. This contrast highlights the star’s focus and evolving sense of identity.

ANIMATION
To add depth to the minimalist black-and-white design, 3D layers, 2.5D animation, motion parallax, and time offsets are used throughout the animation.
These techniques enhance the sense of perspective and bring visual richness to the simple aesthetic.
